Project Ujyalo Bhabisya

'Development Nepal is a UK charity established in 1999 (Registered Charity number 1085199), which has been working in the Sunsari district of East Nepal with our local partner organisation – the Union for Culture, Human and Environment Protection (UCHEP) - since 2000. We work in the Sunsari district of Eastern Nepal, through a long term, holistic programme called Project Ujyalo Bhabisya ("A Brighter Future").

Project Ujyalo Bhabisya (‘Project UB’) has been initiated by Development Nepal to offer a holistic community development programme working towards poverty alleviation; specifically by addressing low human, social and financial capital, which are characterised by a lack of skills, physiological deprivation, social deprivation, vulnerability, low income and inequality.
